London, 27 August 2026 - EE, the UK's number one network for gaming, has today announced it is one of only three retailers in the UK selected to offer the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition available for pre-order from today (27thAugust). The launch marks a landmark moment in gaming history, the 25th anniversary of XBOX, and is another step forward for EE in its journey to becoming the UK’s number one destination for gaming.
Available to purchase from £759 the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition is a bold reimagining of one of gaming's most iconic console designs. Finished in translucent OG green, a nod to the original XBOX that started it all, it features a new "X" animation that lights up green when you power it on, along with the "XBOX 25" mark that signals its place in the pantheon of gaming hardware.
Joining the console is the XBOX X25 Special Edition controller, which packs 25 years of design into every detail and is available to purchase for £74.99. For the first time, fans can see through the back case and battery door, revealing the classic XBOX logo. Original-colour ABXY buttons bring the past forward, while the green XBOX button calls back to the moment the first green "X" burst onto the scene.

Experience the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition at the EE Studio
To mark the launch, EE is bringing the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition to life at its flagship EE Studio store in Westfield London, White City. From 27th August until mid-September, fans can get up close to a spectacular 2.8-metre-high XBOX Series X25 and controller installation, a larger-than-life centrepiece designed for the ultimate fan photo moment.
The EE Studio, which opened in June 2023, is the UK's largest telco retail space, combining physical and digital experiences to guide visitors through every stage of their connected lives. The store features various experience zones, including a dedicated Gaming Zone which gives fans the chance to get hands-on with the latest gaming experiences.
To further celebrate the launch, customers who pre-order the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition with EE can enter a prize draw for the chance to win a £500 EE Game Card.
