EE to launch the Samsung Note 3 on superfast 4GEE

EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, today announced that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will shortly be available for pre-order in black or white, on EE’s superfast 4GEE service as well as on Orange and T-Mobile. EE will also be offering the new Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a ‘CAT 4’ mobile device, making it the perfect to take advantage of EE’s superfast, double speed 4GEE network – providing users with the fastest mobile connectivity when on the move and optimising the Samsung Galaxy Note 3’s key features.

Customers who take out a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on 4GEE will be able to use their device to connect to EE’s 4G service in over 100 towns and cities across the UK from launch. With a 4GEE plan customers can also use their device to watch live TV on the move without buffering, play live multiplayer games on the go and download large email attachments quicker than ever.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be available to pre-order on a range of 4GEE price plans from EE retail stores on the 5th September and will be £149.99 on a £41 per month 24 month plan, providing unlimited UK call minutes and texts as well as 2GB of UK mobile data per month. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will also be available 4G-ready on Orange UK and T-Mobile UK plans.

EE will also be offering the new Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Further details on pricing and availability will be announced in due course.

In addition to superfast speeds and EE services, customers with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on a 4GEE price plan will also benefit from:

EE Film – the only service in the UK which combines 2 for 1 cinema ticketing, listings, trailers and film downloads or streaming in one place
A discount of £5 per month on EE superfast Fibre Broadband – so they can get blistering speeds at home and on the move
Fast track customer service by dialling ‘33’ from their handset
Clone Phone Lite – giving people 500MB free storage to back up the content that matters most
Choose an add-on – customers who take a 4GEE phone plan from £41 per month can also choose from a Deezer music, Games or TV add-on to enjoy

4G from EE is available to businesses and consumers in a total of 105 towns and cities across the UK, covering 60% of the population - with double speed 4GEE offering average download speeds of between 24-30Mbps now available in 20 towns and cities across the UK.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will also be available on the UK’s biggest 3G network and is £42 a month on a 24 month Orange or T-Mobile plan (with an upfront cost of £119.99 on Orange and £139.99 on T-Mobile).
