EE announces multi-million make-over of Darlington campus
EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, has announced a multi-million pound investment programme that will see a complete refurbishment of all buildings on the Darlington campus.
With over 1,500 staff on site, the make-over reinforces EE’s commitment as one of the town’s biggest employers, as well as the company’s ambition to be Number One for Service in the mobile sector. The investment programme will see the entire site benefit from new and improved facilities, from work spaces, canteen and break-out areas, to additional car parking spaces for employees. Staff at the Darlington estate will also play a pivotal role in the refurbishment through extensive consultation on the proposed designs for their new offices.
As part of the programme, EE’s business operations team will also be joining the main campus on the Senhouse Road estate, bringing all EE customer teams closer together on one Darlington site.

Today’s news marks the beginning of EE’s plans to invest in its estate, as the company is also committed to fund and deliver key improvements across other centres in the UK. This is in addition to EE’s investment in its retail estate, which is driving the roll-out of its new Connected Store format
