EE has been named the RootScore Award Winner in Glasgow by RootMetrics

EE has been named the RootScore Award Winner in Glasgow by RootMetrics, an independent consumer advocate.

More than 31,000 mobile performance tests were completed, comparing the performance of EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three. EE came first in every category, coming top for Mobile Internet and Call Performance and joint first for Text performance.

The report findings showed average download speeds of 13.2Mbps and average upload speeds of 7.7Mbps for EE customers in the Glasgow area. These results were nearly 4Mbps faster for downloads than any other mobile operator.

EE first rolled out 4G services in Glasgow in October 2012 and launched double-speed 4G services in July 2013. EE’s 4G services enable local residents and businesses to access the web on the go in an instant; download large email attachments quicker than ever; hold video calls; watch live TV on the move without buffering; and play live multiplayer games on the go.
