EE launches simple, market-leading insurance plans for small businesses

  • EE launches two new insurance plans for small businesses to make choosing cover simple
  • New Full Cover for Business offers leading insurance plans with fast replacement of both the device and SIM plus savings on early upgrade fees
  • Lookout Mobile Security – EE edition also available as standard for customers with Android handsets

Thursday 7th August, 2014: EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, today announced the launch of new phone and tablet insurance plans for its small business customers. EE is introducing Full Cover for Business and Damage Cover for Business – a simple choice of plans that allow customers to pick the level of cover that’s right for them. The loss of a phone or tablet can have a huge impact on small businesses, and these plans are designed to take the stress and complexity out of replacing their phones and tablets as quickly as possible. 

Available from today for just £9 per month, Full Cover for Business offers customers cover against loss, theft and damage, with a simple claims process that includes same-day or next-day  replacement  for both phone and SIM – keeping inconvenience to a minimum. Customers who choose Full Cover for Business also get extra benefits including savings of 25% or more on early upgrade fees with EE , while those using Android handsets also get a subscription to Lookout’s leading mobile security app as standard, Lookout Mobile Security  - EE edition.

For customers who are just looking for cover against accidents or mishaps, EE is also launching Damage Cover for Business. For just £5.50 per month, Damage Cover for Business also offers customers a same-day or next-day replacement1 if their phone or tablet is damaged.

Mike Tomlinson, Director of Small Business at EE said: “Small businesses absolutely depend on their mobile devices, and being without a phone or tablet for an extended period is not an option for them. We’ve launched these insurance plans to keep small businesses moving in the event of loss or damage – helping them to stay in contact with their customers and focus on running their business.”
