EE to offer Sony Xperia™ X and Xperia™ XA with WiFi Calling and 4G Calling on the UK's biggest and fastest network
EE, the UK's most advanced digital communications company, today announced that the new Sony Xperia™ X and Xperia™ XA will be available with WiFi Calling and 4G Calling (VoLTE) on EE’s superfast 4G network.
Both Xperia™ X and XA offer a combination of beautiful design and outstanding features that are perfectly suited to EE’s superfast 4G network. The Xperia™ X and XA add new layers of intelligent technology across popular and acclaimed Xperia features – camera, battery and design – to make every day smarter and simpler. The next generation Xperia camera takes spontaneous capture to another level allowing users to shoot in sharp focus, even for spur-of-the-moment shots, and Sony’s smart battery management to deliver up to two days battery life.
When matched with the UK’s biggest and fastest 4G network, Xperia™ X users will be able to access the full benefits of EE’s 4G+ network, offering download speeds of up to 150 Mbps for the ultimate in connectivity and performance. Xperia™ X and Xperia™ XA handsets purchased from the EE online shop, EE telesales and EE retail stores will also be able to support WiFi Calling allowing customers to make calls and send texts in more places across the UK, as well as 4G Calling (VoLTE), so users can stay on superfast 4G when making calls.
Consumer and business customers will be able to purchase the Sony Xperia™ X and Xperia™ XA via the EE online shop, EE telesales and EE retail stores from official launch later this year.
