Everything Everywhere launches high street store in Lowestoft in landmark trial

Only five locations in Britain to trial a new concept for consumers

Everything Everywhere, the company that runs Orange and T-Mobile, today opened a trial store in Lowestoft which will offer both Orange and T-Mobile products and services under one roof. Everything Everywhere is investing in Lowestoft and has selected the town as the ideal place to test consumer perceptions in this landmark trial. The store will give customers the chance to feedback on what they want from their local shop on the high street.

Marcus Lubbock, store manager at the Everything Everywhere store in Lowestoft said: "When the doors of our new trial store in Lowestoft open, our customers are going to get the most hands-on experience possible. We've been preparing live demonstrations of a huge range of products, and the team here can't wait to give the local residents the opportunity to have a fun and interactive time picking out the perfect product."

Branded Everything Everywhere on the external fascia and inside, the stores are designed to allow customers to hang out and go online (using the store’s free wi-fi), interact with "live" devices and tablets and enjoy demonstrations from staff.

Nine members of staff will be in the store to encourage customers to drop in to chat about their needs, and to make sure they are getting the most out of their phones. Educational events and other fun activities will also be taking place after launch.

Orange and T-Mobile both had stores in Lowestoft and the Everything Everywhere store was previously the Orange site. There are plans to invite local schools to showcase children's artwork in the windows of the T-Mobile store which closed.

The store trial is expected to last up to six months and a further four locations across Britain have been selected for the trial. Stores in Eltham and Bishops Stortford have already opened today while a store in Evesham also opened today.

The Everything Everywhere store in Lowestoft is located in The Britten Centre; Unit 2, The Britten Centre, Lowestoft, NR32 1LR.
