Everything Everywhere launches M2M management platform
Everything Everywhere, the UK's leading communications company, today launches its new M2M Management Platform as a major step towards its goal of becoming partner of choice in the machine-to-machine (M2M) space. The M2M Management Platform– a proprietary M2M platform developed in partnership with Transatel – has been designed to allow business customers to manage their accounts and connections securely wherever they are.
Everything Everywhere's ambition to lead in telemetry is also supported by the announcement of a new specialist M2M partner, Redtail Telematics, which will expand its ability to provide connectivity solutions for customers in a number of new service areas.

The M2M Management Platform
The Everything Everywhere M2M Management Platform – available now to new customers – provides a self-service portal for customers to access and manage all their account information quickly and securely, with complete control over their SIM accounts. The self-service web portal features:
- Connection profiles: including identification of relevant services for the user
- Tariffs: bundles can be shared across connections and subscriptions can be added
- Call Detail Records: providing customers with records for every SMS and GPRS call within one hour
- SIMs: can be ordered directly via the M2M Management Platform
This is the first phase of the M2M Management Platform launch, and it will be followed by the release of the API to allow customers to integrate M2M operations into existing CRM systems and other business applications.
Accompanying the API release, Everything Everywhere will also encourage innovation and the incubation of new M2M solutions, by supporting the developer community. They will be provided with free SIM cards loaded with credit for testing, and given access to Everything Everywhere labs in which to work on their projects.
Everything Everywhere partnership with Redtail Telematics
Everything Everywhere has signed a Global partnership with specialist M2M technology provider Redtail Telematics and its sister organisation the Plextek Group, the world-leading telematics company with over 5 million devices delivered into the automotive aftermarket. Through the partnership, the GPS tracking in devices – which include applications such as stolen vehicle recovery, fleet management and smart insurance – be communicated via SIM cards from Everything Everywhere.
Everything Everywhere – already active in smart metering and vehicle and fleet management – is working to expand into other areas such as global logistics, connected devices for the home and workplace, wellbeing solutions and international M2M offerings.
