FULL LINE-UP UNVEILED FOR EE WATCH PARTY ON NIGHT OF EE BAFTA FILM AWARDS 2022
· Broadcaster, podcaster and television presenter Clara Amfo joins breakout star of Drag Race UK, Bimini Bon Boulash, alongside film vlogger Daniel J. Layton and BBC Radio 1’s Film Critic Ali Plumb to throw a Watch Party like no other on the night of the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2022
· Broadcast live from the EE BAFTA Film House and powered by EE Full Fibre Broadband, the star-studded Watch Party line up will tune in to watch the BBC One Film Awards show on Sunday 13th March at 7pm on BBC One
· Film fans are invited to also join the Watch Party on EE’s Twitter from the comfort of their homes
· Ahead of the Watch Party, Clara Amfo will join Bimini Bon Boulash as EE Red Carpet host to help lucky film fans speak to the 2022 nominees arriving at the Royal Albert Hall, live from the living room at the EE BAFTA Film House
TUESDAY 8TH MARCH 2022, LONDON: With only days to go until the EE British Academy Film Awards, EE unveils the full star-studded line up for its first ever Watch Party, streamed live on Twitter alongside the Film Awards ceremony Sunday 13th March at 7pm on BBC One.
Broadcaster, podcaster and TV presenter Clara Amfo will join Drag star, Bimini Bon Boulash, in throwing a one-of-a-kind Watch Party on Twitter as they watch the EE British Academy Film Awards. Clara and Bimini will be joined by BBC Radio’s 1 Film Critic, Ali Plumb and comedian, YouTuber and film vlogger, Daniel J. Layton.
The reactions of the panel of famous film fans during the EE Watch Party will be livestreamed on EE’s Twitter channel (www.twitter.com/EE), where viewers can tune in alongside the BBC One broadcast to watch this entertaining commentary on the UK’s biggest film awards. Those joining can also get involved by using the hashtag #EEBAFTAs.
Clara Amfo comments: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be reprising my role as EE Red Carpet Host, and what better person to team up with than the glorious Bimini Bom Boulash, who I absolutely fell in love with during their time on Drag Race UK. What’s more, three lucky competition winners will have the chance to interview the stars as they arrive on the red carpet for the awards show. They will join Ali Plumb at the EE BAFTA Film House and connect to Bimini and Clara on the red carpet via EE Full Fibre broadband, chatting to the 2022 nominees as they enter the Royal Albert Hall.
