Orange and T-Mobile to offer iPhone 5 in the UK on 21st September, EE to Offer iPhone 5 on its 4G LTE network

 

Orange and T-Mobile today announced they will offer iPhone 5 in the UK beginning Friday, September 21. Customers can pre-order iPhone 5 through all retail stores, via telesales and online at www.orange.co.uk/iphone5 and www.t-mobile.co.uk/iphone5. Orange and T-Mobile will allow iPhone 5 customers to connect to its fast HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA networks with Wideband Audio. EE will offer iPhone 5 on its 4G LTE network with Wideband Audio when it launches in the coming weeks.

iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, completely redesigned to feature a stunning new 4-inch Retina display; an Apple-designed A6 chip for blazing fast performance; and ultrafast wireless technology—all while delivering even better battery life. iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6, the world's most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features including: the all new Maps app with Apple-designed cartography and turn-by-turn navigation; Facebook integration; Passbook organization and even more Siri features and languages.

Orange and T-Mobile customers will enjoy faster 3G thanks to the fact they will be on the UK's biggest and best 3G and 2G network. iPhone 5 customers on EE will get access to 4G, delivering superfast mobile internet speeds, typically five times faster than the current average 3G speeds. EE's pioneering new superfast 4G service will launch in the coming weeks and will be available in 16 major UK cities, covering 20 million people by Christmas. Customers of all three brands will be served by Britain's biggest, fastest and most reliable network.
